Healthy Homes Kenosha County is an organization through the Kenosha County Division of Health. Using a grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Healthy Homes is trying to tackle the problems of childhood asthma and elderly injuries in Kenosha County.

Currently, Healthy Homes will do a free assessment of any property in Kenosha County. The assement includes testing the home for the presence of radon gas, air quality issues, and looking for signs of pests. It also identifies potential hazards, such as stairways without railings or inadequate lighting. After the assessment, the program will discuss with the tenants some potenial solutions, which are primarily funded by the program itself.
